New Commerce Experience – NCE

Microsoft introduced NCE in March 2022 – this disallowed the ability to reduce subscription numbers within ‘annual contracts’ and made flexible monthly contracts around 20% more expensive. This was always suppose to be the case but never previously enforced, but enforcement came due to subscription reductions during Covid.

MS365 Business Basic – this is the entry level online version with Web and Mobile versions of the Office Apps. It comes with Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams – £ 3.80 per user per month

MS365 Business Standard as above, but includes downloadable versions of the Premium Office Applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publish and Access – £ 9.40 per user per month

MS365 Business Premium as above, but added security with Intune and Azure Information Protection – £ 15.10 per user per month

If you don’t want the Cloud Serves and just require MS Office Premium on subscription, then it’s
MS365 Apps – £ 7.90 per user per month

Downloadable Apps may be installed on up to 5 devices registered to the licenced User.

Each user gets 1TB of OneDrive Storage
