Office 365 – Shared Mailboxes now sync to mobile phones

Inability to add shared mailboxes to Iphone and Android was previously an annoying limitation of Office 365.  This forced clients to either buy extra licences instead of using shared mailboxes, or using IMAP as a workaround.

To access this New Feature:

Simply go to Mail, hit the “hamburger menu” in top left then press + – the menu below will appear.

it will ask which account to use to access it, typically use your own account – which as long as you have been granted permission to use the shared mailbox, it will then work.
