High volumes of calls

As from today, 24th March – due to lockdown, all Weald staff are now working from home. The majority of work we do will be carried out remotely, don’t panic.

Working from home will have little impact on our ability to process calls, however, the volume of calls from clients requesting remote access will cause telephone queues.

Email or Extranet where possible

Due to the high number of requests, we cannot answer all calls without significant queue lengths. Please use email where possible which will allow us to distribute the calls to engineers who don’t normally work on helpdesk.

Extra capacity

We do have extra capacity on helpdesk as the engineers who normally work regularly on-site for clients are now working on our helpdesk. Similarly, on-site project work has mostly been postponed, so other senior project engineering staff are now available.
